Desmond Huia

Desmond Huia is an Elder of Aboriginal heritage Palawa of Tayaritja, who has extensive counselling and community experience. Desmond previously built a successful owner truck driver business which operated for 8 years and was also the Chairman of Four Winds Community for approximately 15 years. Four Winds Community plays an important role in improving the lives of those experiencing socio-economic hardships.

Amy Huia

Amy Huia J.P.  Her heritage is Aboriginal Palawa Kani, Bass Strait Island, who has counselling and community experience. Amy is a successful Marriage Celebrant and was also Secretary of Four Winds Community for 15 years. She often volunteers to serve Indigenous communities with music and teaching. Amy and Desmond Huia have been together and married for over 40 years..

Renee Four Winds

Renee Dennison

Renee is an indigenous Maori woman of New Zealand and is married to a Gamilaraay man from Kamilaroi Nation. She has spent time living in Perth, New South Wales and Victoria after moving here
from New Zealand and frequently travels throughout Australia. Renee has worked within many communities and cultures over the past 20 years and continues to do so as a valued director for Four Winds Foundation. She values and enjoys reading by the ocean, swimming, fishing for Tarakihi and Snapper and spending time with family friends and loved ones. Renee is a strong woman with a heart for the people- All people.
